The Christian County Colonels golf team battled not only their opponents but weather conditions as well Friday as they opened the 2020 golf season at the Daviess County Invitational. The Colonels finished their day with a team score of 364, which placed them 9th for the event.
Host Daviess County took home first place honors with a score of 307. Owensboro Catholic was 11 shots back in 2nd place with a score of 318.
Micah Smith and Houston George were the co-leaders for the Colonels. Each finished their round with a score of 82.
