Hopkins Central ‘Storms’ to 8th Place Finish at Daviess County Invitational

The Hopkins County Central boys golf team fit their Storm name Friday, battling heavy rain and stormy conditions at the Daviess County Invitational at Ben Hawes State Park. Central finishe the day with a team score of 349, placing them 8th for the event, just five shots back of crosstown rival Madisonville-North Hopkins.

Host Daviess County took home first place honors with a score of 307. Owensboro Catholic was 11 shots back in 2nd place with a score of 318.

Kaleb Adams had the low score of the day for the Storm. Adams finished his round with a score of 77, placing him in a tie for 8th place in the individual standings.
