Trigg County’s golfers put together a solid finish to claim fourth place Monday at the Hopkinsville Golf Invitational at the Hopkinsville Country Club.
Hunter Reynolds shot a 5-over 76 to finish in fourth place. He was five shots behind the winner, James Folz of Hopkinsville. Reynolds finished strong with a 1-over 37 on the back nine.
Trey Carr carded a round of 84 to finish tied for 18th place with Ty Butts one shot back in 23rd place with an 85. Haydon Reynolds shot a 92 to finish in 41st place, and Greyson Grissom placed 78th with a 107.
Trigg County totaled 337 points to finish in fourth place. Owensboro Catholic won with 317 points, and Daviess County was second at 323 — one point ahead of third-place Hopkinsville.
Trigg County will play a dual match at Murray Tuesday.
