In the midst of grief, Caldwell County native Emma Talley will get the chance Thursday to tell the story of a special individual. According to golfweek.usatoday.com, Talley will be wearing a microphone throughout her round at the Marathon LPGA Classic.
In wake of the death tuesday of her good friend, Cullan Brown, Talley initially decided not to play in the event. However, according to the article, she decided to do what Cullan would have wanted her to do, thus, she will be playing in the event, and getting the chance to tell the story of the Lyon County golfer whose death at the age of 20 has been felt across the country.
On what is likely to be a very tough and emotional day for Emma Talley, more people will get to find out about her special friend who is gone way to soon.
Cullan Brown died Tuesday at the age of 20, after almost a year long battle with osteosarcoma.
