UHA senior Jiles Wyatt reeled off five birdies over nine holes on Tuesday at Western Hills Golf Course, posting a 4-under 32 in a dual match with hosts Christian County.
Wyatt’s performance earned the top spot, seven strokes ahead of Christian County’s Houston George in 2nd. Luke Shouse was next for the Blazers with a 46, and Jude Doer shot a 48. Aaron Onate closed out the scoring for UHA with a 55.
The Blazers and Colonels will be back on the course at Western Hills on Thursday when 8th-District rivals Hopkinsville round out the field.
