Wildcats Post Runner-Up Finish at Ballard County Invitational

Hunter Reynolds was 2nd overall, and the Trigg County boys’ golf team finished runner-up to McCracken County at the Ballard County Invitational on Saturday.

The Wildcats brought eleven golfers to Ballard County Country Club, with the top four scores giving them a 310, seven strokes behind 1st-place McCracken County and forty-five ahead of 3rd-place Paducah Tilghman.

Hunter Reynolds’ 74 was a stroke behind medalist Kobe Allen of Graves County, with Hayden Reynolds shooting a 77 to tie for 5th with McCracken County’s Tyler Dew.

Also figuring into the team score were Ty Butts with a 79 and Trey Carr with an 80, with Greyson Grissom’s 87 not used.

Other Trigg golfers on the course Saturday included Stephen Audas with an 83 and Jay Humphries with an 89.  Tyler Ahart shot a 93, followed by Dallas Ahart with a 95, Ivey Redd at 98, and Trevor Terrell with a 110.
