Emma Talley earned over $8,200 for a 64th place showing in the AIG Women’s Open over the weekend at Royal Troon in Scotland.

Talley shot rounds of 77, 73, 74 and 74 to finish at 14-over-par 298 for 72 holes.

Talley made the cut for the third straight week and has earned just under $80,000 over that time.

Talley was one of five players to finish in 64th place at 14-over. She made $8,217 at the AIG Women’s Open.

Meanwhile, Sophia Popov, ranked 304th in the world and having never won on the LPGA Tour or even the Symetra Tour, captured the 2020 AIG Women’s Open with a final-round score of 67 for a 7-under-par total, two shots clear of Jasmine Suwannapura and three ahead of Minjee Lee.

Popov wore a blue ribbon on her cap at the Women’s Open in memory of Cullan Brown, who died from bone cancer just three weeks ago.

Popov’s boyfriend and caddie, Max Mehles, played golf with Cullan at the University of Kentucky.
