Hopkinsville’s Evan Pyle shot an even-par 35 Thursday to claim medalist honors in a dual match with Muhlenberg County at the Central City Country Club.
Pyle’s score was two shots better than Muhlenberg County’s Camden Harris.
James Folz finished second for Hopkinsville with a 38, followed by Calvin Demps with a 44, and Will Bunkley with a 45. Joey Falco’s 48 rounded out the scoring for the Tigers. Andrew Riggs shot a 41 for Hoptown as an individual that didn’t count toward the team score.
Nolan Nofsinger and James Soderling each shot a 38 for Muhlenberg County. whose score of 154 was eight shots better than Hopkinsville.
