Girls golfers from Christian County, Hopkinsville, and University Heights took part in a match Thursday afternoon at Western Hills. Hopkinsville won the team competition, while Hopkinsville’s Cate Blane took girls’ medalist honors in the event.
Hopkinsville, which was the only one of the three schools to have enough girls to play to qualify for a team score, shot a 185 for the afternoon.
Indidually, the Lady Tigers’ Blane shot a round of 36. That score was four shots better than UHA’s Rheagan Lindsey, who carded a nine hole score of 40. UHA’s Conlee Lindsey finished 3rd with a score of 41.
