Caldwell County’s Baron Wells gave the Tigers a big boost just out of halftime Friday night.
Up just 8-0 at halftime, Wells picked off a Crittenden County pass on the first play from scrimmage in the second half and returned it 46 yards for a touchdown.
Caldwell would go on to capture a 22-0 victory in its season opener.
