James Folz finished tied for second place, and Hopkinsville had four golfers shoot 46 or under to claim first place in a quad match Monday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
Folz shot a 39 on the back nine of the course to finish one shot behind the medalist, Jiles Wyatt of University Heights.
Will Binkley added a 44 for the Tigers, followed by Evan Pyle’s 45, and Andrew Riggs’ 46. Calvin Demps came in with a 48, and Joey Falco shot a 49.
Hopkinsville’s team total of 174 bettered Butler County by 22 shots and Hopkins County Central by 28 shots.
