Rose Smith had a pair of goals as Lyon County upended Caldwell County 4-1 Saturday night in a game added late to the schedule.
Leah Schroeder added a goal and an assist while Mary Davis had a goal and Anna Crawford recorded an assist for the Lady Lyons.
Maddie Russell had 23 saves in the Lyon net while allowing just the one goal.
It was the first win of the season for the Lady Lyons (1-3) while the Lady Tigers (3-1) suffered their first setback.
Caldwell’s only goal came from Laken White, off an assist from Kaylee McEnaney.
However, White, a sophomore, later suffered an ACL injury and is done for the season.
