Emma Talley is tied for 21st after two rounds at the Cambia Portland Classic and could be poised to make a run at a Top 10 finish in Sunday’s final round in Oregon.
In Saturday’s second round, Talley carded four birdies and two bogeys while shooting a 2-under-par 70 for the second straight day. That has her at 4-under overall.
Talley played well from tee to green in round two, hitting 13 of 14 fairways and 17 of 18 greens in regulation. However, she took 33 putts on Saturday after needing just 28 in Friday’s first round.
Talley has a 9:26 tee time Sunday morning in Portland — 11:26 Central time.
Mel Reid leads the tournament at 12-under. Defending champion Hannah Green is two shots back entering the final round. Two players are three shots back.
