Hopkinsville geared up for next week’s region golf tournament by winning a four-team match Monday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
Hoptown edged Madisonville by four shots 156-160 and Christian County by 24 shots.
James Folz shot a 2-over 37 to finish tied for second place, two shots behind the winner Jackson Hill of Madisonville.
Evan Pyle shot a 39, and Andrew Riggs and Will Binkley each shot a 40. Joey Falco shot a 42, and Calvin Demps shot a 44.
Demps and Folz, both seniors, played in a foursome with fellow seniors Micah Smith of Christian County and Jiles Wyatt of University Heights.
