Christian County finished third in a four-team golf match Monday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
Seventh-grader Landon Hunt was the top scorer for the Colonels with a round of 42. Micah Smith shot a 44, and Houston George added a 46. Jace Blue carded a 48, and Brady Hightower shot a 49.
Smith, the lone senior on the team, played in a foursome Monday with fellow seniors Jiles Wyatt of University Heights and Hopkinsville golfers James Folz and Calvin Demps.
Christian County’s team score of 180 was third to Hopkinsville’s 156 and Madisonville’s 160.
Jackson Hill of Madisonville took medalist honors with a 2-under 35.
