Madisonville golfer Jackson Hill had a strong showing at the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association All-State Tournament one week ahead of the region tournament.
The Maroon junior finished tied for fourth place in the two-day event, which features the top golfers in the state based on All-State points.
Hill finished at even par for the two days, three shots behind the winner Rylan Wotherspoon of Cooper High.
Hill had five birdies on Saturday and four more Sunday on the two courses at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington. He came into the event ranked 12th in All-State points.
