Caldwell Volleyball 5-1 After Beating Christian 3-0

Caldwell County won its fourth-straight match while dealing Christian County a 3-0 setback Tuesday night at the CAB gym in Princeton.

Olivia Mitchell recorded 15 kills, four digs and two aces while Abby Griggs had 12 kills, a block and three aces.

Caldwell (5-1) took control of each set early while picking up the 25-9, 25-10, 25-11 victory.

Mary Tays had seven kills, seven digs and three aces for the Lady Tigers while Kendyll Prowell had 34 set assists, a kill and five digs.

Riley Thomas had a team-high 12 digs and two aces. Adi Sullenger had five digs and two aces. Lily Hoard added two kills, Katie Menser a kill and a block, Savannah Scott had a kill and two digs, and Kynady Thomas had one kill.

For Christian (3-3), Macy Baker had five kills, Aniya McCarley four kills and Queinasia Henery three kills.

Paris Buckner and Leila Lee each had one kill.

Chantelle Haby had eight set assists while Hailey Sparks recorded five set assists.

Caldwell will go to Crittenden County on Thursday while Christian visits Trigg County that night.
