Freshman goalkeeper Corbin Nichols recorded 14 saves as Caldwell County earned a scoreless draw with Paducah St. Mary Saturday night in Princeton.

It was the second tie in three days for the Tigers, who also played to a 3-3 deadlock Thursday night at Trigg County.

St. Mary (4-3-1) had the better scoring chances in the second half, but Nichols denied the Vikings on several opportunities to keep the game 0-0.

Caldwell (2-1-2) is scheduled to make up a 7th District date at home against Madisonville-North Hopkins on Monday.

The Tigers will then take on Lyon County Tuesday at Butler Stadium as part of a Senior Night boys and girls twinbill.
