Falcon Runners Place 8th at Marshall County Invite

Fort Campbell finished eighth at the 42^nd Annual Marshall County Cross Country Invitational Saturday in Draffenville.

Grant Shrader led the Falcon runners with a 17^th place finish in 9:09 over the 1.5-mile course.

The race was shortened from the normal 3.1-mile length due to COVID-19 recommendations from the KHSAA earlier this year that also saw the runners compete in waves throughout the morning to cut down on crowding the field.

Landen Rhodd was 46^th in 9:45 followed by Aiden Fix in 47^th place in 9:47.  Amari Waddy finished 52^nd in 9:56, and Caden Hughes was 53^rd in 9:57.

Rounding out the scoring for the Falcons were Brock Sharp in 69^th place and Travis Schmidt in 70^th place.
