Lyon County sophomore Cathryn Brown finished fifth in the girls’ 1st Region Golf Tournament on Tuesday in Calvert City.
Brown said following the regional that next year her sights will be set on an even higher finish.
Brown is headed back to the KHSAA State Golf Championships for the second straight year. That event will be played next week at Bowling Green Country Club.
Following Tuesday’s regional tourney, YSE spoke with Brown about her round.
