Lady Maroons 12-2 After 4-0 Run in wRECk @ The Plex

The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons are 12-2 after sweeping their four matches during the wRECk @ The Plex on Friday and Saturday.

Madisonville defeated Fort Campbell 3-0 Friday in its first match of the event at the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex, prevailing by scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-16.

Natalie Collier had 12 kills in that match while Kaitlyn Orange recorded seven. Kendrea White had five kills and two blocks. Alexis Fliehman led the squad with 21 digs while Amya King recorded 23 assists.

The Lady Maroons then beat Crittenden County in four sets, 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-19.

Orange had 15 kills, Collier 13 and White 10 against the Lady Rockets. Fliehman tallied 32 digs and King had 34 assists.

In action Saturday, Madisonville opened the day with a 3-1 win over Christian Fellowship School, 25-19, 13-25, 27-25, 25-21.

Collier and Orange each had 12 kills. Ellie Hughes recorded six kills and two blocks while White had five kills and two blocks. Arian Gregory had 22 digs while Fliehman added 21. King totaled 33 assists.

The Lady Maroons then dispatched Christian County 3-1 after dropping the first set, 19-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Orange had 15 kills in that one while Hughes had eight and Collier six. White had five kills and a block. Fliehman finished with 24 digs while King had 30 assists.

Madisonville’s next match is set for Tuesday, at home against Owensboro.
