Todd County Central has rebounded from a six-match losing streak with two straight shutouts as the Lady Rebels head into the postseason. Todd beat Butler County 6-0 Thursday behind a hat trick from Itzel Salazar.
Ana Anastacio, Madison Henderson, and Jenny Flores all found the back of the net as well for the Lady Rebels, who improved to 5-7-1 on the season. Todd has battled injuries since winning the All-A Classic region title. A six-match losing streak followed until a pair of wins this week.
The Lady Rebels will host Franklin-Simpson Monday in the semifinals of the 13th District Soccer Tournament. The Lady Cats beat Todd 2-1 on Sept. 22.
