Seven boys runners from Fort Campbell were among those to take part Saturday in the “White” division race at the Fast Cats Classic at Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro. The Falcons ended the race with a 5th place team finish with a score of 115.
North Laurel won the race with 39 points. McCracken County finished a close second with 40 points.
Grant Shrader was the top finisher for the Falcons. Shrader had a time of 19:08.31, which was good enough to put him in 18th place for the race.
Peter Dalmares, of Walden, was the “White” division winner with a time of 16:55.89.
