Madisonville finished in sixth place Saturday at the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA Girls’ State Golf Tournament in Bowling Green.
The Lady Maroons were +108 for the two days, with Saturday’s score two strokes higher than Friday. Marshall County won the team title.
Kaitlyn Zieba led the Lady Maroons with a 16th place tie at 13-over. She shot a 76 on Friday and an 81 on Sunday.
Kat Weir improved eight shots from Friday to finish with a 77. Her two-day total was 18-over, good for 32nd place. Karra Tucker [+26] tied for 53rd with Stella Knight 87th and Sydney Browning 93rd.
