Marshall County junior Savannah Howell has been named First Team All-State by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association and Golf House Kentucky.
Howell, who gave a verbal commitment to play college golf at Western Kentucky University this week, finished fourth in the point system used to determine All-State points. Her Marshall County teammate, Trinity Beth, was named Miss Golf.
Howell earned 800 points for her play during the season that included winning the Hopkinsville Invitational, tying for second at the Region I Tournament, and a fifth-place
The All-State Golf First and Second Teams are chosen by points earned in high school invitationals, KGCA All-State Championships, Regionals, and the KHSAA State Championships.
