Marshall County 7th grader Trinity Beth has been named the 2020 Kentucky Miss Golf by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association and Golf House Kentucky.

Beth took full advantage of her first season of varsity play with three first-place finishes and two runner-up finishes in invitationals throughout the season.  Beth was the runner-up in the All-State Championship, won the Region I title, and finished fourth at the KHSAA State Championships last week.  Her play helped Marshall County win its first girls’ state golf title.

The All-State Golf First and Second Teams are chosen by points earned in high school invitationals, KGCA All-State Championships, Regionals, and the KHSAA State Championships.  Beth outdistanced second-place Casey Powell of Paul Laurence Dunbar by 125 points.  KHSAA state champion Macey Brown of Apollo was fourth.
