The Caldwell County Tigers and Murray High Tigers battled back and forth in a Class 2A 1st District matchup in Princeton on Friday.
Caldwell tied the game at 34-34 on Blake Vivrette’s 23-yard field goal on an untimed down after regulation time had expired.
But Murray’s Rowdy Sokolowski scored on a 3-yard run in overtime, then Murray held Caldwell out of the end zone on fourth down from the 2 to escape with a 41-34 victory.
