Christian County seventh-grader Landon Hunt finished in second place Sunday at the PGA Kentucky Junior Tour Lou Perry Championship at the University Club of Kentucky.

Hunt and Louisville’s Luc Kelty both finished their two nine-hole rounds at 12-over par. Kelty birdied the second playoff hole to win the title in the 11-12-year-old division.

Hunt carded three birdies over his 20 holes of golf over the weekend.

Ryan Stokes of Calvert City finished in third place, one shot back.

Hunt’s second-place finish capped off a good week that saw him record a hole-in-one during a practice round at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club prior to his trip to Lexington.
