Madisonville-North Hopkins stopped Trigg County’s postseason run on Wednesday, defeating the Lady Wildcats 4-1 in the 2nd Region semifinals in Henderson,
Trigg finishes the season 8-4-1 after winning the 5th District championship last week and beating Webster County in the first round of the regional tourney 1-0 in a shootout on Tuesday.
The Lady Maroons (8-6-2) advance to Thursday’s 2nd Region championship game against Henderson County.
