Dawson Springs Runs to 13th Place at State XC Meet

Dawson Springs had its first five runners finish within 44 seconds of each other and finished 13^th as a team Saturday at the Class 1A State Cross Country Meet in Paris.

Brothers Lucas and Ethan Osborne crossed the finish line a second apart. Lucas was 65^th in 19:01, and Ethan was 66^th in 19:02 over the 3.1-mile course.

Tyler Hale was 87^th in 19:22, with Caleb Garrett 107^th In 19:41 and Yosiyah McCune 112^th in 19:45.  Michael Faughn was 167^th in 20:58.

Dawson Springs finished 13^th as a team with 380 points.

The state meet was held at the Bourbon County Park in Paris after more than four decades at the Kentucky Horse Park, who opted not to host the 2020 state meet due to COVID-19 concerns.
