University Heights Academy brothers Tomas and Tobias Duncan have been named to the Class 1A All-State Team by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Tomas, a senior, finished in the top-five of seven of the eight invitationals he entered in 2020.  His time of 16:06 in winning the KTCCCA Meet of Champions on Oct. 17 set a new school record.

In addition to winning the Warren East Invitational, Duncan won the region title for the fourth straight year.  He finished fourth at the Class 1A State Meet for the second straight year, marking the best finish ever for a Blazer runner.

Meanwhile, Tobias had the highest finish at the state meet for a middle schooler. The UHA eighth-grader finished 16th at the Class 1A State Meet.

Tobias also finished second to his brother Tomas at the region meet for the second straight year.  He recorded a top-5 finish at the Owensboro Fast Cats and a 10th place finish at the KTCCCA Meet of Champions.
