Crittenden County has swept the Kentucky Football Coaches Association awards for Class 1A District 1.
Caden McAlister was named the district player of the year after rushing for 289 yards and six touchdowns for the Rockets in 2020. He was also second on the team with 57 tackles and one sack. The senior had two fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
Sean Thompson was named district coach of the year after leading the Rockets to a 6-2 record and a regular-season district title. Thompson has a 27-7 record in three seasons as Crittenden County head coach.
