Kentucky Lake will once again be the host of the KHSAA State Bass Fishing Tournament although final details are still being addressed due to COVID-19.
The KHSAA calendar has the region tournament scheduled for the week of April 24 with the state tourney set for May 6-8.
Joe Angolia with the KHSAA told the board of control at its Thursday meeting that some social distancing guidelines, such as fan attendance, are being finalized.
The 2020 bass fishing season was canceled due to COVID-19 but several youth tournaments sponsored by national fishing organizations were held across the state last fall lending confidence that there will be an uninterrupted 2021 season.
