Todd County Central Announces Football Awards

While it was a COVD-19 shortened football season for the Todd County Central Rebels, it was a season that at least got to take place, and saw the Rebels reach the playoffs for the 4th year in a row. Monday, first year head coach Josh Robins announced the team award recipients for the 2020 season. The award winners are:

MVP – Omarion Riddick

Defensive MVP – Ethan Tomerlin

Offensive MVP – Preston Moore

Special Teams Award – Orrin Scott

Defensive Back Award – Nathan Carroll

Forcing Unit Award – Chase Wells

Offensive Line Award – Damarcus Leavell

Offensive Skill Award – Nate Reding

Future Award – Clay Campbell

Pride Award – Preston Stokes/Kaleb Slaughter

The Rebels finished the 2020 season at 3-5, losing to Hancock County in the opening round of the Class 2A playoffs. Todd County Central will open the 2021 season August 20 with a home game against Trigg County.
