Three former Caldwell County Lady Tigers are playing college softball this spring.
Caldwell grad Emma Staples is a sophomore at Frontier College in Fairfield, Illinois. The Bobcats are set to open the season March 5 at home against Brescia.
Madi Choate is a freshman at Asbury College in Wilmore. Asbury was scheduled to open this weekend but those dates have been canceled. Asbury softball is now set to open Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Alice Lloyd, if the weather will allow.
Karlie Rennison is a freshman at Centre College in Danville. Centre will open its season next Saturday, Feb. 20, with a pair of games at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
