Blazers Takes Second at Good Friday Meet

The University Heights Academy boys’ track and field team finished second to Hopkinsville at the Good Friday Meet hosted by HHS at the Stadium of Champions.

UHA had 65 points, seven fewer than Hopkinsville.  Christian County was third with 51 points.

BLAZER RESULTS

Mason Price – 1st in the 100-meter dash [12.20]; 1st in the 200-meters [24.72]; 1st in the 400-meters [55.21]

Sam Cotthoff – 1st in the shot put [42-02]; 2nd in the discus throw [95-11.50]

Chase Hendricks – 1st in the 3200-meter run [11:56.28]; 3rd in the 1600-meter run [5:11.23]; 4th in the 800-meters [2:21.73]

Connor Dill – 1st in the 300-meter hurdles [41.32]; 2nd in the 110-meter hurdles [18.13]

Walter Kunnmann – 3rd in the 400-meters [56.65]

Ray Farmer – 3rd in the 3200-meter run [13:10.47]; 4th in the 1600-meter run [5:50.92]; 8th in the 800-meters [2:41.81]

Trey Wyatt – 4th in the 200-meters [26.18]; 5th in the long jump [15-05]; 8th in the 100-meter dash [13.19]

Joe Duncan – 6th in the shot put [17-10]; 7th in the discus throw [32-03.50]

The 1600-meter relay team of Connor Dill, Trey Wyatt, Mason Price, and Luke Shouse finished second in 3:43.33.
