Another honor for Madisonville senior cross country runner Jackson Watts. Watts, a state champion has been named the 2021 Gatorade Kentucky Male Cross Country Runner of the Year.
The Madisonville senior, who has signed to run at the University of Kentucky, won both the region and Class 3A state title in 2020. He also earned 1st Team All-Area and Class 3A Runner of the Year honors.
Additionally, Watts was named the Area 1 Boys’ Runner of the Year by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
