The Lyon County tennis teams made the trip to Mortons Gap Thursday evening to take on Hopkins County Central. The Lady Lyons came away with a 6-3 win over the Lady Storm.
The highlight match of the afternoon turned out to be the doubles match between Lyon’s Josie Kaminski and Allie Holt and Hopkins Central’s Chloe Metcalfe and Mia Collins. The Lyon County duo fell behind 5-0 in the match but came back to win 8-5.
On the guys’ side, there were only three matches played, two singles and one doubles. Hopkins Central won all three.
