Hoptown Scores Top-5 Finishes at Marshall County

Hopkinsville had a pair of top-5 finishes Friday at the Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays at Marshall County High School.

Allison Wood was second in the 1600-meter run, and La’Taijha Cherry, competing in the high jump for the first time, finished in fifth place.

Rebecca Wood – 9^th in the 1600-meter run [6:33.67]

Eva Blankenberger – 10^th in the 1600-meter run [6:46.58]

The 4×1600 meter relay team came in second place in 27:31.

The 3200-meter relay team was sixth in 12:17.59.

The distance medley relay team was seventh in 16:48.02.
