Todd Central Track Teams Finish Top-5 at Muhlenberg Meet

The Todd County Central boys’ track team finished 4th on Tuesday at Muhlenberg County behind 1st-place finishes by Angel Villanueva and Xavion West, while the Rebel girls finished 5th with Ava Scott’s 100M Hurdles win leading the way.

The boys excelled in the Discus and Shot Put, with Villanueva taking 1st in the Discus with a throw of 109-05.  Xavion West was 2nd with a 100-11 and the two reversed places in the Shot.  West took the top spot with a 39-11.00 and Villanueva was 2nd with a 36-06.00.  West was also 11th in the Long Jump, and Ethan Peyton jumped 16-00.00 to finish 7th.

Chase Wells was 7th in the Discus and 3rd in the Shot with a throw of 36-01.00.  Ricky Woodard was 15th and 11th, Clay Campbell was 12th and 15th, and Joel Villanueva was 23rd in both.

In the 100M, Keanu Galima was 4th with a time of 11.7, followed by Omarion Riddick in 7th, and Conner Dulin in 14th.   Riddick was also 4th in the 200M with a run of 26.1 and Franklin Grullon was 5th with a 26.2.

Ayden Wood ran 8th in the 1600M with a 6:10.00, Tanner Robinson was 9th in the 400M, followed by Peyton in 10th, and Dulin was 13th.

The Rebels were 3rd in the 4x100M with a 49.0 and 4th in the 4x200M with a time of 1:49.

On the girls’ side, Ava Scott won the 100M Hurdles with a time of 21.6, followed in 2nd by Skylar Peyton with a 23.7.  Scott also ran 4th in the 100M with a 15.1, 6th in the 400m, and 8th in the 800M.  Peyton was also 3rd in the 300M Hurdles and 4th in the 1600M.  Adlea Hamlet finished 7th in the 800M and 11th in the 200M, with Scarlett Lancaster taking 14th.

Yasmine Peterson finished 3rd with a time of 14.0 in the 100M and 5th in the 200M with a 31.7.  Laniyah Jones was 9th in the Discus and 7th in the Shot,
