Caldwell County’s girls took four of six matches to pick up a team victory over Fort Campbell in tennis action Tuesday in Princeton.
Despite rain the area, the Lady Tigers and Lady Falcons will still able to get their match in.
Fort Campbell won just one singles match, with Victoria Lopez Rodriguez defeating Josie Shaffer 6-0, 6-0.
Caldwell took the other three singles contests. Keegan Miller shut out Lauren Anderson 8-0, Avery Ritchey beat Isabella Aragon 8-1 and Emma Peake upended Matilda Thompson 8-1.
In doubles, Fort Campbell’s Lopez Rodriguez and Anderson defeated Shaffer and Miller 8-2. Meanwhile, Caldwell’s Ritchey and Miller beat Aragon and Bella Babich 8-4.
The Caldwell County tennis teams are scheduled to travel to Hopkinsville on Thursday to face University Heights Academy.
