The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons picked up their third win in their last four games Friday evening. The Lady Falcons scored in every at-bat as they rolled to a 24-9 five-inning win over the Dawson Springs Lady Panthers.
The Lady Falcons pounded out 19 hits as they scored two runs in the first, six runs in the second, six more in the third, three in the fourth, and then capped it off with seven runs in the top of the 5th inning.
Samantha Forristal had a huge night for the Lady Falcons, going 5-5 with a double, five RBIs, and five runs scored. Kiley McCrary also had a big night at the plate, finishing 3-4 with four RBIs. Hope Balzeski chipped in with a 4-4 night. She had three RBIs and two runs scored.
Kiley McCrary went the distance in the circle for the Lady Falcons, giving up nine runs, seven of them earned, on five hits, striking out five, and walking three.
The Lady Falcons had a solid night in the field finishing the game with no errors.
Fort Campbell improves to 3-10 with the win. The Lady Falcons are set to be back in action Saturday in a doubleheader at Fort Knox.
