Kentucky volleyball just continues to break down barriers in Lexington. First it was a NCAA Tournament watch party in Memorial Coliseum when UK was playing Texas for the national title.

Next it was a celebration on the streets of the campus after UK won the title — the kind of thing that happens when Kentucky wins a national basketball title.

Then there was the welcome-home rally in Memorial Coliseum for the Wildcats after they got back to Lexington with the national title.

Now comes an autograph signing by three of the team’s four seniors — Madison Lilley, Gabby Curry and Kendyl Paris. The fourth senior, Avery Skinner, cannot participate because she will use here extra COVID year as a grad transfer playing at Baylor.

Curry, Lilley and Paris will be at KSBar in Lexington from noon-4 p.m. Saturday. No reservations are needed. Cost is $40 for two signed items of your choice and a photo with the national championship trophy.

Curry says the trio is eager to meet fans, sign autographs, and take photos with fans as a way of giving back for the support the team received.

Lilley was the American Volleyball Coaches Association national player of the year and this week was named the 2021 Honda Award winner for volleyball. She was also SEC Player of the Year and the most outstanding player in the NCAA Tournament when UK won its first national title.

Curry is also a multiple All-American and regarded as one of the top libbers in the country.

Paris did not play as much as her two senior classmates due to the talent on UK’s roster but was part of four straight SEC championships. Coach Craig Skinner noted the improvement she made this year and constantly cited the contributions she made in practice.
