Lady Warriors Fall at North Hardin Christian in Regular Season Finale

Heritage Christian Academy wrapped up KCAA regular season play with an 11-1 road loss at North Hardin Christian Saturday. The Lady Warriors will enter the postseason as the No. 3 seed and will move automatically into the state tournament semifinals after their first-round opponent refused to come to Hopkinsville and play.

North Hardin Christian, the No. 2 seed in the postseason, scored in every inning but the second. They scored nine runs in the final three innings helped by three Lady Warrior errors.

Chloe Ginn singled and scored HCA’s lone run in the second inning after advancing to third and scoring on a passed ball.  It proved to be HCA’s only hit of the game.

Heritage Christian Academy was scheduled to play Lakeside Christian Monday in the first round of the KCAA State Softball Tournament in Hopkinsville. However, the Morehead school has forfeited three of its four regular-season KCAA games and notified HCA they would not be making the trip to Hopkinsville and play.

The Lady Warriors will play North Hardin again in the semifinals Tuesday in in Shelbyville.
