The Caldwell County doubles team of sophomore Grayden Miller and junior Billy Wallace made their first appearance at the KHSAA State Tennis tournament on Tuesday, gaining valuable experience in a first-round loss at the Top Seed Tennis Club in Lexington.
Matched up with Bullitt East’s Andrew Kruse and Kameron Mullins, the Tiger duo dropped the opening set 1-6, before improving in a 3-6 loss in the second.
Kruse and Mullins saw their tournament come to an end in the second round with a 0-6, 1-6 loss to Highlands’ Eli Back and Eli Hornsby.
