Claire Knoth shot a 9-over 81 to claim third place at the Bluegrass Golf Tour stop at Drake Creek Golf Club in Ledbetter Saturday.
The Caldwell County junior-to-be had one birdie and 13 pars over her 18-hole round. A quadruple bogey on Hole 18 likely cost her a second-place finish but Knoth still managed a third-place finish.
She was two shots behind 2020 KHSAA state champion Macey Brown of Owensboro who finished second. Graves County’s Ellie West won the event with a 4-over 76.
Madisonville’s Karra Tucker was fourth, two shots behind Knoth. Calloway County’s Skylar Waller shot a 12-over 84 to place fifth, and St. Mary junior-to-be Ellie Roof was sixth at 18-over.
