Trigg County made three trips to the medal podium Friday at the Class 2A State Track and Field Meet in Lexington.
DeDe Barbee finished fifth in the 400-meter run with a personal-best time of 1:00.45.
Barbee was also on a pair of relay teams that also earned a medal. She and Iyanna Grubbs, Fatu Crain, and Alliyah Thomas finished sixth in the 800-meter relay and eighth in the 1600-meter relay.
Riley Brame competed in a pair of events Friday. She finished 15th in the triple jump with a distance of 30-09.75 – fourth-best by a Trigg jumper at the state meet.
The freshman also finished 20th in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 18.93 seconds.
Trigg County totaled eight points to finish 23rd in the team standings.
