The Lyons finished the 2021 season with a mark of 22-4, winning the 5th District tournament, before losing a two-point heartbreaker to Hopkinsville in the opening round of the 2nd Region tournament. The Lyons also won the 2nd Region All-A Classic.

Lyon County coach Ryan Perry recently confirmed to YourSportsEdge.Com that his team would be among those set to play in the event.

Lyon County features one of the state’s top returning players in sophomore Travis Perry. Lyon County also returns virtually its entire roster from the 2021 season. That list of returnees includes Jackson Shoulders, Gunnar Bingham, Brady Shoulders, Jack Reddick, Brady Shoulders, Luke Gilbert, and Nick Whalin.

The Lyons are set to return all but 1.1 points per game from their offense of the 2021 season.
