Thompson Paces Lady Falcons at State Meet

Madeline Thompson had Fort Campbell’s lone top-10 finish Thursday at the Class 1A State Track and Field Meet in Lexington.

The eighth-grader was ninth in the pole vault at eight feet.

Abigail Barker finished 16^th in the 100-meter hurdles in 19.23 seconds, which was a personal best for the eighth-grader.

Savannah Ziegler was 17^th in the 200-meter dash in a time of 28.35 seconds and was 19^th in the 100-meter dash in 13.54 seconds.

Ava Dennis was 19^th in the pole vault with a height of 6-feet, 6-inches.

The 800-meter relay team of Savannah Ziegler, Abigail Barker, Hailey Villegas, and Asia Cabili finished in 16^th place.

The 400-meter relay squad of Abigail Barker, Asia Cabili, Hailey Villegas, and Savannah Ziegler also finished in 16^th place.

The 3200-meter relay team of Elizabeth Allen, Madeline Thompson, Lauren Blanton, and Ava Roberts finished in 22^nd place.
