That score put her five shots of Nina McMurtrey, of Glasgow, who finished her day at 79. Emma Harmon, of Bowling Green finished second with a round of 82.
Knoth was consistent throughout her day. She shot 42 on the front nine and 42 again on the back nine. She had birdies on #7 and #15.
